Endowment for Youth Fund, created by the SMEI Foundation for Marketing Education, provides financial resources for projects selected by the organizations it supports:
- Conduct practice interview sessions in conjunction with BEP
- Conduct chapter meeting with DECA
- Recognize and make cash awards to outstanding sales and marketing students
- Participate in national sales and marketing conferences and conventions
- Fund youth intern programs at area businesses

SMEI – Madison Foundation was created as a non-profit organization in 1958 to support young people through education. SMEI invests in the next generation through the Endowment for Youth Fund within the Madison Community Foundation, a tax-exempt community trust that establishes funds, invests those funds for long-term growth, and distributes earnings.
Ron Turner Scholarship
Ron Turner served SME Madison for over twenty years as a past member, president and executive director. During this time, Ron stressed that a core principle of SME is to promote youth education through practical experience and financial assistance. During his years of involvement, Ron worked diligently to ensure that this support was given. Currently Ron works for Hydromaid in Draper, Utah and continues to serve as a member of the SME International Board of Directors. The Ron Turner Scholarship is a lasting tribute to SME Madison and Ron’s commitment to supporting youth interested in sales and marketing.
